Opening reception in Petaluma, March 14, 2015

Balmy evening for Petaluma’s monthly art walk brought lots of art lovers to the Riverfront Art Gallery for the opening reception of their juried photography show. One of my digital abstracts, Market Street, is in the window and another, Passages, is hung with some similar images.

Street art

I can now add street artist to my résumé with today’s addition of Obey Tony to the graffiti wall outside Art Works Downtown.

Good press

Thanks to Sharon Feissel and the Petaluma Post for the favorable review of Riverfront Art Gallery’s “Showin’ On the River” juried photography show which runs March 11 to May 6. The article includes this description of one of my digital abstracts:

“Suzanne Bean’s Passages is highly creative in concept by uniting and toning multiple images into a panoramic impression of an alleyway, yet her photography is traditional.”

Under construction

Undercover webmaster Tony the Tiger is hard at work getting this site up and running — ironing out wrinkles, in-crease-ing readability, untangling threads, etc. Stay tuned!
